BEAUTIFUL NORWEGIAN SILVER GILT AND ENAMELLED PICTURE BOWL SOUVENIR SPOON :

A beautiful Norwegian silvergilt and enamel souvenir spoon. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. Iwould date this piece to around this period c1900-1910. It has been made as asouvenir of Norway having the terminal enamelled in the form of the Norwegian coatof arms. The bowl has been enamelled with the image of a young woman in traditional dress. The whole piecehas been gilded. It is in superb condition, the silver is free from dingssplits distortions and repairs, the enamel free from chips cracks and repairs,and the gilding thick and complete. It measures over 5 inches (13cms) long by almost1 inch (2.5cms) wide and weighs 13 grams. A very high quality beautiful piece.
