This is a beautifully copied amulet of Horus Late Period, after 600 B.C. in the form of a standing falcon with folded wings set on an integral rectangular background with the shining ray of the sun upon the falcon, with incredible details.

The falcon god of Egypt was worshipped as an ideal because of its ability to fly higher than any other living creature. It was said that it was to able to stare at the sun without harm to its keen eyes.

This design is from an OLD EGYPTIAN practice carving that was never completed.
