A beautiful Victorian sterlingsilver gilt spoon. It is hallmarked for London 1872 with the maker’s marksbeing GA for George Adams. It has a beautiful terminal in the form of a cherub and the whole piece has been gilded (gold on silver). It is in superb condition beingfree from dings splits and repairs. It measures a touch over 3.5 inches (9.3cms)long and weighs 9 grams. A beautifully made example.
