A beautifully cast sterlingsilver pheasant figure. It is hallmarked for London 1974 with the maker’s marksbeing SMD for possibly S M D Castings. Ithas been superbly cast in the form of a female (hen) pheasant. It is in perfectcondition being free from dings splits and repairs and all the detailing iscrisp. It measures 1.75 inches (4.5cms) long beak to tail by almost 1.5 inches(3.7cms) tall and weighs 32 grams. Very well made high quality example.
