Unusually large Bennington yellow ware Rockingham glazed soap dish. 7.25 inches long and 5.25 inches deep. 2 3/4 inches tall. Circa 1870s. This is the largest Bennington soap dish I have ever seen. As you can see, it’s much large than my hand.

Dish is in great antique condition. No major chips or cracks. There is one small glaze flake on the rim. Not bad for being almost 150 years old. There are usual manufacturing imperfections and a bit of soap or hard water residue. Please see my pictures.
