Amazing antique metal and rhinestone buckle:
*This is by far the largest belt buckle I have ever laid eyes on
*Double runs of gold or brass toned metal half round make upthe rectangular frame
*Filled with simple but elegant clear glass prong setrhinestones design
*Working double prongs or forks set in the center on a fixed bar - theprongs fully move 180 degrees....they fold all the way from one side tothe other
*Metal looksto be a silver or silver toned base with a gold or brass wash or plating - it is entirely non-magnetic
*Has adefiniteFrench look to it - butthere aren\'t any marks that I can find
Measurements: 9 1/4\" wide or long (including the extending prong tips) x 4\" tall or high
Marks: = None that I can find
CONDITION: Good condition for the age - all stones are intact and sparkly. A few areas in the framehavean ever so slight wave to them. Very well may be original and due to the old handmade nature. You sureyou could see about having it straightened if you desire. View & enlarge photographs to closely inspect fine details and to determine the amount of patina, and/or wear. Most older pieces by nature normally have some degree of both and, unless severe, aren\'t considered damaged. I will sure note anything glaring or distracting.
