Stunning BIG 1920s 9K GOLD Carved Shell Cameo Brooch Pendant 16.2gms

This is one of the finest and beautifully Carved Genuine Shell Cameo I’ve had the pleasure to hold!
Measuring 59MM high by 49MM across (25.4MM = 1 inch), the metal was jeweler tested to be 9K Yellow Gold - no plated gold here.
It’s designed to be worn as EITHER a Brooch or a Pendant.
The amazingly detailed carving of this pretty Goddess is very crisp - note the detailed photo of the hair!
The condition here is excellent. I find no damage and no repairs. There is some very minor scratching on the back of the shell, which I only discovered using my jeweler’s magnification.
Un-cleaned. I find no chips or cracks.
When I had my jeweler test the metal content, I had him also test the pin and closure - the pin/closure is NOT gold - the rest is.
JUST SO PRETTY!
