BIRKS SAXON 1914 STERLING SILVER SET 8 KNIVES STAINLESS BLADES NO MONO A set of eight knives with sterling silver handles in the Birks \"Saxon\" pattern first produced in 1914, 8 1/2 inches long, unmonogrammed, handles marked BIRKS STERLING and blades marked BIRKS STAINLESS, the blades appear to have been reset or replaced with soft solder showing at the joint between handle and bolster--especially on one (see photo), one knife handle rattles, several blades have some tiny pits, in need of a polish, otherwise in good condition without dents or breaks.
