Offeredin this sale is a 2 Piece MatchingSterling Dresser Set made by the iconic Canadian maker, BIRKS of Montreal. Thislovely and extremely decorative, Set, consisting of a Brush and Hand Mirror, istruly exemplary of Edwardian style featuring classic pinstriped panels with afoliate cartouche on the backs of each piece.

BIRKS is aCanadian Firm established in the 1870s and is still a going concern. Widely regarded as the “Tiffany’s” of Canada,this set reflects the quality BIRKS is renowned for. A must for the Edwardian or Art Deco enthusiast.

A lovelyand decorative set with condition issues (see below), truly of their period.They would be prefect props for a play or Home Staging, creative re-use, orjust scraping.

SIZE & CONDITION: The Mirror is approximately31 cm (12”) long, the Brush 25 cm (10”) long, long and together the pieces weigh 365 g (12.9oz) all in.

They arein fair condition, with a dent on the mirror and significant loss of thenatural bristles on the brush (see photos).They are monogrammed in flowing period script.

MARKS: The pieces are each fully hallmarked “BIRKS STERLING”.
