This book is the result of an intensive and comprehensivefive-year study in which more than 3000 documents were consulted. Muchinformation was collected from over twenty archives, banknote collections andcollectors and many interviews were conducted, making it a unique andgroundbreaking study.

The book runs to 424 pages and includes colourillustration of all known currency notes, identified by date and prefix, proofsand die proofs of unissued designs, World War II emergency proofs, sketches andmuch more. Many of them are published here for the first time and some are theonly recorded examples in existence.
