BRITISH VICTORIAN 1895 INDIA GENERAL SERVICE MEDAL w/2 BARS TO ROYAL IRISH REGIM:

This is a very nice British Victorian Era 1895 General Service Medal with two bars in original, untouched condition. It is named in correct running script, “4654 Pte. F. Kelly, 2nd Bn. Ryl Ish Regt” and has a few very minor edge bruises. The bars are “Samana 1897” and Punjab Frontier 1897-98. There is very fine detail still remaining in the queen\'s crown, necklace and breast decoration which has not been polished out over the years. The suspension bracket under the last bar is slightly bent but can easily be bent back if so desired. Despite these few minor flaws, this fine medal is still in excellent condition and displays beautifully.4608
