ITEM DETAILS

DESCRIPTION

You are being offered in BUY NOW sale an authentic 1950’s Brooklyn Dodger Pen and Pencil set. This would be a nice addition to the collection of a Dodger fan.

I am the original owner. This set was purchased at my second Dodgers game in 1956 which happened to be Sal Maglie’s no hitter against the Phillies.

The photos included in this listing are of the item being sold.

The Louisville Slugger bats are wood.
The Dodger name as well as the Louisville Slugger logo is in excellent condition.
The set has the same bright glossy finish as the day it was purchased.
I feel one would have a difficult time finding a set in nicer condition.
Over the years, a variety of Dodger bat (pen & pencil) sets were sold. I feel this set is by far the most attractive that was offered.

CONDITION :

The pen and pencil set is in very good condition.
The only thing which prevents this set from being excellent plus is the ink bled through one of the bats as shown in the photo.
The set is original, untouched and unrestored.
The bats have no chips, cracks, dents, breaks or repairs.

SIZE : (The measurements are approximate.)

The wood bats measure 5 1/8” long. The pencil and pen extend beyond that length.

HANDLING CHARGE/ INSURANCE:

SHIPPING ADDRESS CHANGE :

If you would like you order shipped to an address other than the one has on file either

SHIPPING : (All Domestic items are shipped with Delivery Confirmation and/or Insured.)

RETURN & ADJUSTMENT POLICY:

All correspondence, as is described below, is to be through Messages.

If the item is not as described in the listing and/or as shown in the photos:

The Buyer is to contact me and provide me with clear concise photos of the problem within 14 days from receipt of the item. (The shipper’s tracking delivery date is the date of receipt.)
If the Buyer’s complaint is justified, I will work with you to reach an adjustment. If we are unable to agree, I will accept the item back. It must be shipped within 3 business days of me approving return. ( The Buyer is to ship the item back with the same coverage it had when it was sent unless I state otherwise in an email.
The Buyer will be issued a complete refund for the Cost of the Item, all Shipping Costs (including the fee to return the item to me) and Handling charges. The refund will be issued in the same form the item was paid for - PayPal with PayPal, etc.

INSURANCE CLAIM: will be filed by the SELLER (Me)

If an item is damaged in shipping, send me a description of the damage and photographs through . ( If the photos are too small, out of focus or not lit well, I will inform you of what you will need to do so photos are acceptable for me to file a claim.)

You will be reimbursed the original cost of the item and your shipping, once the claim is approved.

Since the shipper may need to examine the item and packing materials in the investigation process, the Buyer needs to retain the damaged item and all packing materials. These should be kept exactly as they were when they received it. The Buyer is Not to ship the item back to the Seller but may need to take it to their local post office. (This is stated on the USPS web page under Filing Domestic Claims-Proof of Damage - will be left after I have received yours. I have found this necessary since Buyers did not always reciprocate after I had left them response.
