AUTOGRAPH: Four page (two pages with writting on front/back) ALS dated 1962 by Ballerina Toni Lander.

CONDITION: Fine condition with light margin and corner wear.
MEASUREMENTS: 5 3/4 x 8 1/2 Inches.

BIO: Toni Lander, a Danish ballerina who became internationally known as a principal dancer with the American Ballet Theater and London Festival Ballet. iss Lander was a versatile ballerina. She was also a specialist in the ballets of August Bournonville, Denmark\'s celebrated 19th-century choreographer. Her greatest triumph in this respect was her reconstruction this year of Bournonville\'s 1855 ballet \'\'Abdallah\'\' for Ballet West. The production received wide praise both at its premiere in Salt Lake City in February and in Washington earlier this month. She died of cancer in Salt Lake City at the age of 53 years old.

Autograph History: I purchased 10 large scrapbooks filled with almost 900 European autographed photos, cards, and letters. This amazing collection was obtained in the 1950s and early 1960s. The original collectior was Danish and the collection is filled with hard to find Danish, German and other European actors, musicians, ballerinas, and more. All autographs are from the 1950s-1960s. Please keep watch for an opportunity to offer on some hard to find autograph material!
