A very nice and very early Ban Chiang terra cotta vessel. This vessel dates to the early period 2000-3000 BC. It\'s difficult to appreciate this piece from pictures. It is absolutely fantastic. The surface aging it perfect, plus it has good mineral growth in the cracks. If you\'re familiar with Ban Chiang, you will know that this is very rare. Don\'t be fooled by reproductions!
I purchased this piece in 1992 and it was legally imported into the US at that time. I will absolutely stand by the authenticity of this item.This is not available for export from the US.
