For sale, Bandai\'s 3 mode transforming HCM (High Complete Model) VF-1A Macross Valkyrie toy. An interesting bit of toy history: this was the first Valkyrie toy with nifty features like the underwing missile pylons and articulated fingers. Toynami would later enlarge this toy to create the Masterpiece Robotech Veritech toys.
Overall this toy is in excellent shape. All joints are super tight and feel factory fresh. I don\'t even think I ever transformed this. The diecast metal is still shiny with no oxidation. Some parts have been removed from the plastic sprues for assembly, like the gun pod and missiles, but all the original parts are there. Also, you get the original papers and unused sticker sheets.
This toy is advertised as 1/72 scale. It displays well with Bandai\'s new Himetal Macross toys, which span 1/80 to 1/100. It goes pretty well with the Himetal destroids, which tend to be bigger. The size charts I see generally show the tops of the Destroids to reach Valkryie shoulder height. No other figures or accessories are included in the sale.
