Here is an all original Civil War period officer\'s frock coat that needs some TLC. Coat is late war manufacture with non-regulation turn down collar. 9-button front with hand finished button holes, unfinished hem lined to botton, quilted lining oxidized dark green mordant lining, huge ballooned sleeves only seen in CW period coat (8\" on this coat). All the buttons on this coat have been removed as well as the shoulder boards. There are a couple small tears in the broadcloth and a couple older repairs to hems. With a little love and care and some buttons this would be aphenomenalcoat at a fraction of the cost dealers are charging. Coat fits small around a 34R.
