Barker Mfg. Co. - Providence, Rhode Island - 12k Gold Stiffened ThimbleIt has a faceted rim, the band is hand chased to form a cloud shaped cartouche that is engraved
in a fancy script \"M. M.\". The rest of the band has abstract flower & diamond shapes, with
stippled background. The minor cartouche is stamped with a 5 point Star, and the size \"10\".
The top is rounded and has a knurling like the sides of the thimble. \"Stiffened Gold is formed by taking 2 bars of solid gold and soldering them to each side of a
stiffening metal of the same color as gold. It is then rolled to the required thickness to form into
