Original Barry Mcgee hand made “TWISTIE” sticker, stuck to a piece of clear plastic from a now defunct newspaper box in NYC. This sticker is from 2013 when Barry was in town for an exhibition at Cheim and Reid in chelsea. Plastic measures 7.5”x11.5”, label measures approx 2.25”x 3 3/8”. It is permanently adhered to the plastic. Sticker is in very good condition with minor lifting on one corner, and a few “air lines” throughout. Very good/excellent condition otherwise. Ink is in great condition with no fading. A note- a majority of Twist stickers that are sold on are from serial bootleggers and are often pushed onto unknowing buyers. These fakes are evident if you have seen enough of Twist’s work. I’ve provided detail shots that clearly show this is an original. I may be selling my collection (a moral gray area), but I have too much respect for the culture to be a part of bootlegging artist’s work. Buy in confidence. Don’t pay for subpar bootlegs.
