Very Rare Limoges Small Basket- beautiful Victorian motif in Cobalt blue, gold, green and orange.
has 2 marks on bottom, one is for the manufacturer Laviolette and the other is the exporter LBD&Co.Marked on bottom: Flambeau China L.B.D. & Co. Limoges France handpainted
the mark on the bottom dates the piece to ca.1894-1916
Measures 4-5/8\" tall by 3-5/8\" wide by 5\" long
This is a beautiful collectible and rare piece, it has minor gold rubbed here or there but not bad for being over 100 years old. I see no chips nut did not that the gold is little thicker and shinier in a small spot where the handle connects to the basket- looks like the gold paint was touched up possibly sometime over the years but I don\'t believe it detracts from the beauty in any way- most would not notice it and you could turn the basket to hide this as well if one a shelf. I would have priced this higher but have reduced the price having the touch up. please see pictures- I have a close-up of this spot in the last photo above.*No Returns/Refunds Policy*...Please Note that we do not accept returns or refunds. All insurance claims are filed online now & there may be a delay in how long it takes the insurance company to process the refund, also USPS claims may require items to be physically taken the post office for inspection should they ask for them- often photos are not enough for the claim to be processed. *Items lost in shipment or not received*... If they are lost in transit, we will be required to wait the specified time by the shipper to file the insurance claim- there is no other way to do this as that is their rules and we will have to wait their time limits.
