In this listing I am offering this really beautiful Antique Victorian Floral Design Black Beaded Crochet Drawstring Purse. All of the Beads appear to be there and I see no tears or rips. The only problem I see is that there are some of the Silver Beaded Balls missing around the bottom of the Purse ( see photo ). The ones remaining could be cut off and never noticed that they were missing and you could use them on another Purse you may want to restore. I will leave this decision to the New Owner. There is also a few strings of Silver Beads missing on the Ball on the very bottom - but I believe these could be spread out and again - not noticed and there is some Beaded Trim on the very bottom edge missing ( see photo ). The Beads on the Purse are in Black and Silver and have a FLORAL Design Pattern all around There is no Lining and it looks like the Original Black Ribbon Drawstring but it does show some Fraying ( see photo ). It has no rips or tears but does show normal wear consistent with age and use and does have a some small small Holes ( photo 2 and 7 and 8 ) . You can also see in phot 2 that the Silver Beads have a sort of discolor to them in places. I am not sure what have may caused this and I am not sure if it can be cleaned back to the Silver color? The Purse measures approx. 4 3/4 in. Wide x 10 in. Long ( not including the Black Ribbon which is another 10 in. when not drawn together or 5 in. on each side ). I am Selling this Purse AS IS - AS FOUND since it does have problems. Really a gorgeous Antique Purse and with a little TLC I am sure it would make a wonderful addition to any Collection !
