This is a Bear Black Panther Hunter recurve in VERY GOOD condition. Beautiful \"Grayling Green\" colorone piece riser and tips.This bow scales at 40# at 28\" draw. This matches the \"40\" thatwas penned on the strike plate at the factory. The bow length is AMO-52\" and it\'s a fun little shooter. It\'s in fantastic condition for a late 70\'s model bow. There is absolutely no limb twist the tips are great. It has a few little light scratches here and there that would be expected on a bow that is 40+ years old. There is a tiny hair line 1\" stress line in the finish on the front of the top limb on the fadeout, and one hair line 2\" stress line (pic 10) on the belly side of the top limb at the fadeout. These vertical lines are only in the finish, are barely visibleand don\'t affect the performance. There is, what looks like, a fingerprint (pic 11)on the front of the bottom limb at the fadeout, below the stabilizer / bow fishing insert. This is a fingerprint in the black paint madeby the factory worker who painted the bow over 40 years ago! It ishardly visible though and adds a little character to the bow. She comes with a 47.5\" string in decent condition. She braces and quiets down nice at about 9\".The shelf barely has a scratch and is ready for whatever arrow rest you choose to put on it (I recommend a Bear Weather Rest).

It will be hard to find another one of these models in better shape than this one.
