For your consideration is a Sara Portrait Doll by doll artist Beatrice Perini. The doll was made in 1991exclusively for the JC Penney Doll Collection and is limited edition no. 595/1500 dolls worldwide. I have listed the doll as used because of its age, but the doll is in new condition, having been stored for years,never been displayed and withthe legs and armsstill wrapped in the original bubble wrap. The box shows some shelf wear and has dings, dents, and scrapes consistent with age and storage. There is one small pink stain on theribbon around the dollsneck (see photo). The original price tag attached to the box indicates it originallylisted for $180.00 and was marked down to $89.99. The doll has the original hang tag and certificate of authenticity. According to the certificate, \"Internationally acclaimed doll artist, Beatrice Perini, has created Sara a portrait doll whose inspiration was drawn from a child\'s face on an antique postcard. This very sweet and romantic baby was the winner of the popular choice among many artist dolls, from all over the world at the Global Doll Society Competition in Stavanger, Norway in 1991. Sara has an articulated head and can be posed as shown in the accompanying photo. Sara is only available through J. C. Penney and is a numbered limited edition. She is inscribed with the edition number, along with the artist\'s personal signature mark in 18kt gold on the back of her neck.\" The doll measures approximately 19 inches tall and is made of porcelain.
