Beswick, Beatrix Potter\'s Sir Isaac Newton was modelled by Graham Tongue and was first issued in 1973. It was produced on two backstamps BP3a and BP3b. Sir Isaac has a pale green jacket, and a yellow waistcoat with tan markings. Production ceased in 1984. I\'m no expert but believe him to be BP3b.
Great estate sale find and nice addition to any collection. I don\'t see any chips/nicks or cracks and would say he\'s in very good preowned condition. Please check out Foxy Wiskered Gentlemen in separate listing.
