A very beautiful 18th century silk remnant of brightly coloured bouquets. There is metal thread used as well as coloured silk. It has been preserved by sewing to a silk background piece and bordered with brocade ribbon. It is in very nice condition. There are a couple of areas that have splits forming and a thin soot or two... but otherwise it is in stable condition. The back has what looks like a coffee spill on it...it does not go to the front. Please look at the pics for details. Could be English or French.
Measures approx 9\" wide x 27 1/2\" long.
