This is a beautiful 19th century long vestment stole made from gold metal brocade with heavy gold work embroidered crosses at the ends with spangles and a red glass jewel. There are strips of heavy gold lace, and it is edged with gold bullion trim. It is lined with watered silk.

It measures about 76\" by 6.5\" or 193 cms by 16.5 cms, the condition is mostly very good, some pale blue patches on the gold brocade on one end, and some slight wear to the edges, see photos. A lovely piece for a collection or to use in a devotional setting. Thank you for looking.
