This is a beautiful late 19th century Victorian etched sterling silver and etched crystal decanter. It is likely French, but the mark is utterly unascertainable. It comes from an estate with other French crystal, including the vanity boxes I\'m currently listing separately. This is a heavy and ornate item with foliate etching on the glass and elaborately etched scrolls and flourishes all over the lid. The lid pulls off to reveal a crystal stopper in a sterling housing on the rim. I gave the lid a rudimentary polish so it wasn\'t <i>completely</i> black anymore, but it definitely could use some more elbow grease. 6.75\" tall.
