Beautiful Antique 1920-1930\'s. Hand- Made, Cross Patterned, Wool Pile Rug from Cappadocia Region. It comes within nice pile condition for a collector or enthusiast and measures 6\'1\"×9\'1\". This genuine rug is of hand spun wool pile symmetrically hand knotted on solid cotton foundation on hand spun ivory hand spun wool wefts. This rare item displays Cross Patterns which symbolizing Cross of Saint Mathew ,hand knotted on the family loom by a young woman in 1900-1918s before Armenian community was forced to move out of Kayseri by Ottoman Turkish.
It is the last sign of Armenian Trace in Central Anatolia
