Beautiful Vintage / Antique Cast Iron Arcade Crystal No. 3 Coffee Mill Grinder

Check out this beauty. Truly a nice piece of history - we took this off of the wall in the Estate.

This is a wonderful cast iron and glass grinder. All pieces move quite easily. The Glass Jar is beautiful, the the words \"Crystal No. 3\" embossed in raised letters on the front. The jar appears to have a slight \'purple\' hue when in the sunlight, just adding proof to its age. It also does appear to have a few tiny little air bubbles in the glass as well.

The cast iron is also very nice. As you can see in the photos the \"Arcade Crystal\' are easily read, the handle with its wooden end are in great shape. The only thing I could find to point out is that someone evidently painted the wall when this item was mounted and did not remove it while painting. Thus having some yellow paint on feet that mount to the wall...a tiny little bit on the underside of the handle also. I would think that some acetone would make short order of this paint to remove it, however, I did not do this so as to not disrupt anything from its \'just found, barn fresh\' appearance. The proud new owner can decide if and how they would like to remove the remnants of paint. It is not visible without close up viewing as most of it is on the \'underside of the feet\' that would be flush against the wall and not visible.

We were told by the local antique dealer that this particular grinder, with its heavily embossed cast iron body and the design of the glass hopper, is Circa late 1800\'s however, this is just information that was given to us and not something that I am certain of personally.

We ship priority mail due to the fact it is usually quite quick and some of the materials are supplied thru them cutting back our costs. However, we DO NOT earn a living off of shipping as I see some sellers do! We have people mailing us everyday and saying things like, \'your shipping is too high\'..umm well folks, send those complaints to the united states postal service, as we do not have any control over that whatsoever!

I would agree that shipping is costly and I would say also that 90% of the time the \'flat rate\' you see posted on our sales does not even cover the priority mail rate, not to even mention all the other expenses that get incurred. Our rate is clearly posted in our sale, if this is not acceptable please look elsewhere for your item! Most often we will charge actual rate or very minimal amount over actual only to help out on the cost of packing materials, ink, paper, equipment, etc....often times we pay the difference when it turns out to be higher than what we have quoted. We also have refunded numerous people some of their shipping when they live in a zone that is cheaper than most! We are very fair, and want everyone to be satisfied.

We take great pride in our shipping and have NEVER had any items shown up broken, OR any items damaged; we pack very well, we insure items and ship the way we would like to receive our items.
