This is a truly beautiful Art Deco (circa 1920\'s) diamond ring! The diamonds are crystal clear yet beautifully reflect all colors of the rainbow in natural daylight. Clarity is estimated as VS1-VS2 and color appears to be in the near colorless range. There are two old European cut diamonds in the center of the design, one larger diamond at approximately 4mm (.25) and one smaller than the larger one (at approximately .10) and these are of very high quality and clarity (as seen in the photos). There are also 14 additional old single cut diamonds that also have super clarity and sparkle to them, there are 16 total diamonds in this ring, lots of sparkle and really beautiful! Total carat weight for all diamonds combined is estimated in the range of .60-.70 cttw. The gold is 14k white gold and marked 14k on the inside of the band. The ring has a nice weight of 3 grams and will need to be re-sized as it is currently a size 3.5 (which is not uncommon in older rings). Generally, an antique ring can be re-sized up or down 2 sizes without the sizing affecting the setting or having extra gold added, this is usually done for a minimal fee by your local jeweler (This ring should easily size up to a size 5 1/2 to a 6 at your local jeweler\'s). The photos of this ring are close up and the following are actual measurements: The ring measures (from tip to tip north/south 3/4 of an inch) and (from east/west 1/2 of an inch). Gorgeous ring with a really great design element to it...must see these diamonds in person in natural daylight...simply amazing!
