Beautiful Antique Porcelain or China Cased Clock

Japy Freres Movement

11\" Tall By 6 1/4\" At Widest

Beautiful antique porcelain or china case clock with a Japy Freres movement. This has a porcelain hand painted face and beveled glass door. There is a Boston mark on the lower part of the face rose wreath design. I assume that to be the retailer location back then. The color is a Pale yellow and off white color with a floral design and portrait on the lower front of the case. This clock runs and strikes. The movement is marked Japy Freres Made in France with the numbers 39 41. There is an impressed round mark, which I was unable to capture with a photo.

Condition is, Some crazing from age. I note one flake type chip at the lower part of the side edge, as shown in my last photo. There is gold gilt loss, which can be seen in my photos.

Size is 11\" tall by 6 1/4\" at the widest. This weighs 6 lbs without packing materials. There is a faint Sevres type mark on the underside of the base. Third to last photo. I am including the key which I have no way to know if original to this case, however it works fine.
