Beautiful Victorian gilt metal garnet set brooch. Slightly curved rectangular shape with tube style hinge to the reverse and \'c\' clasp with unusual safety catch. Unsigned.This lovely brooch measures approx 5.2 cm in length x 1.3cm in width and weighs 9g. The gold plating is worn in a few places as shown in the photos. The pin is in good working order.In good vintage condition with light surface marks in keeping with age and general use.
