Beautiful Cherry and Cable 6pc Glass Set Mosser / Northwood Ex Condition:

Hello and Welcome! Presenting this very beautiful and large pieced set of glassware featuring the classic Cherry and Cable pattern. I am unsure of the maker but they appear to be Mosser, although unmarked. The set contains five pieces (six if you count the lid to the pedestal compote). Some of these pieces are quite large and heavy as I will describe:1. 12 inch tall Pedestal Lidded Candy Dish / Compote- This is a beautiful piece, very large, 12 inches tall by 8 1/2 inches wide at the handles by 6 inches diameter. The piece has a large broad pedestal base with a lobed footprint having 10 separate panels and lobes at the bottom. There is one gold band at the neck of the pedestal. The bowl section is 5 inches tall, also with 10 panels and two large handles on either side. The center has a cluster of cherries with red flashed cherries attached to gold colored stems/leaves; they intersect a gold band (cable) that goes all the way around the upper mid-section. There are a pair of hand painted gold vine tendrils that come out from each side of the cherries and are not on a raised/molded section but rather on flat glass. The top opening has 10 raised lobes with an inner recessed lip for the lid. The lid has 10 panels as well with 10 thumbprint depressions. The top knob has 10 flattened facets that are flashed ruby red. A large heavy gorgeous piece. Almost in perfect condition as the one side of cherries has some wear/fading to them. Weighs 6lbs.
2. Pitcher- This is the next larger piece, measuring 8 1/4 inches tall by 8 inches wide at handle/spout by 6 inches diameter. Made of very heavy glass, again with 10 panels with a total of 16 cherries on the sides. Same pattern and colors. The pitcher isalso in near perfect condition; there is no wear to the flashed red cherries or goldbut has a couple of very small scratches on the side. Weighs4lbs 9oz.
3. Compote- Measures 5 3/4 inches tall by 6 3/8 inches diameter at the top opening. This pieces has 6 double clusters of cherries along the sides for a total of 36 cherries all attached to a gold cable near the top. The body has 18 panels with a lobed top opening. The pedestal has a round base and is not lobed but also has 18 panels. The piece is one solid piece of glass. In perfect condition with no wear of flashed red cherries nor the gold areas. Weighs 1lb 13oz
4. Double handled Vase- I am not exactly sure what this piece is supposed to be; it measures 5 1/2 inches tall by 4 1/4 inches diameter by 6 1/4 inches wide at the handles. This piece has 8 panels with a double cluster of cherries on either side. In perfect condition with no wear to the red flashed areas or gold. Weighs 1lb 13oz
5. Sugar Bowl- The bowl measures 2 1/2 inches tall by 3 1/4 inches diameter by 4 inches wide at the handles. It has 10 panels along with double handles at either side. Each side has a double cluster of cherries. In perfect condition with no wear to the red flashed areas or gold areas; although I believe this piece had a lid at one time as there is a recessed lip on the interior. If so, the lid is missing. Weighs 9oz.
A very nice set and in very fine condition compared to other items that I have seen. Very little wear or fading of the painted/flashed areas, no damage, very bright and colorful. Buyer will be happy. Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask me any questions or provide any comments.
