Presented for your consideration is a Cliff Goodman signed ruffle edge swirled art glass vase, with cranb edge. The vase measures 6-3/4\" tall x 8-1/2\" wide, and has a beautiful twisting sweep. It is in very good gently used condition with no chips, cracks, breaks or repairs.
Glass artist Cliff Goodman has been creating high quality art glass sculptures for over 30 years. His wonderful pieces can be found in fine galleries worldwide. Signature items comprise of many classic forms including vases and bowls, custom lighting and hand blown glass sinks. Goodman received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1979,m. He also pursued study in 1983 at the Penland School of Crafts, Penland, North Carolina . In1982 Goodman studied at the famed Pilchuck Glass School, Stanwood, Washington and continued in 1984 at the Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, New York. From there, from 1985 -1988 Goodman pursued courses at the Pratt Fine Arts Center, Seattle, WA. From 1988-1991 he owned and operated a private glassblowing studio in Sun Valley, Idaho and has since owned and operated the Seattle Glassblowing Studio.
Cliff Goodman\'s commisioned works can be found at Anthony’s Pier 66, Seattle, Washington, and custom glass sinks are located in the guest lounges at the Lincoln City Festival of Glass, The Wu Residence. A remarkable 2 story custom glass chandelier by Goodman is located in The Openhimer Residence. He has earned the Outstanding Achievement Award Neiman Marcus, Visual Merchandise Department Seattle Marriott Waterfront, Underwater Treasure Ruth Chris Steak House, Anaheim, CA Plus many other custom lighting and art installations.
