Beautiful English Georgian Sterling silver vinaigrette box. Birmingham 1830:

Description This is a beautiful sterling silver vinaigrette box made in Birmingham in 1830. The box has a slightly curved top and bottom. It is decorated on top and shows 2 engraved initials. The bottom of the box is decorated with 2 flowers. The inside of the box is gold washed and has the original sponge. There is a tiny perforation on the top but all parts of the box are in excellent condition. There are no dings or dents and the hinge works perfectly and the top fits tightly onto the base.

Markings Hallmarked as having been made in Birmingham England in 1830. The maker\'s mark is T.P.

Size Approximately 7/8 inches long, 5/8 of an inch wide and 3/8 of an inch in height.

Condition Excellent condition.
