Beautiful solid english silver tea set in a very rare and sought after art deco style.

This beautiful set is fully hallmarked with a lion to show that it is solid English sterling silver, an anchor to show that it was made/assayed in Birmingham, the date letter G to show that it was made in 1931, and the makers mark W.N & S LD to show that it was made by William Neale & Son Ltd.

The Tea pot measures 270mm/10.75\" long, 120mm/4.75\" wide, 170mm/6.75\" tall. It weighs roughly 700g.

The jug measures 140mm/5.5\" long, 75mm/3\" wide, and 95mm/3.75\" tall. It weighs 217.4g.

The bowl measures 170mm/6.75mm long, by 90mm/3.5\" wide, 80mm/3.15\" tall. It weighs 249.9g.

With regards condition.There are a couple of very tiny marks / knocks to the underside of the spout (see final photograph). As with any antique silver odd minor surface marks. The finial and handle appear to be made from synthetic material of the period and are free from cracks and chips.
