It is shades of vivid, gemmy darkpurple & green, with no definable termination- see pics. A lovely stone!
I have purchased 2 large Estates of gemstone/mineral collectors, one from Massachusettsand one from New York. Most of these items were mined between the 40\'s and the 80\'s- and have been in storage a long while. Many areunlabeled, or have had the labels worn off from age.
