Half-plate daguerreotype of a little boy and little girl,
siblings, most likely. Beautiful original hand-tinting.
Comes in half of its original case, that is in very poor
condition. It has been resealed as shown; most or all of
the original seals are still inside of the case and will
be included.They are ID\'d by a little note. It\'s loose NOT stuck on
the glass. I think it\'s a boy and a girl, but the note
ID\'s them as \"Mrs. Billings (Grandma Billings) and her
sister Carrie\". It\'s possible a family member came along
later and misidentified them as both girls, or maybe I
am wrong and they are sisters after all.The dag is in very good condition overall. There are some
tiny mat abrasions tight up against the mat and scattered
mold spiders, but no dings, swipes or corrosion noted.
Including the case it\'s 6\" x 4.75\".
