Beautiful example of a Howard Series 0 Railroad Grade pocket watch featuring bridge movement and oversize ruby jewels and ruby banking pins.
It also features aKeystone EXTRA yellow gold-filled double-bar bow case with NOS crystal.
It was serviced about 3 years ago and has not been used. Winds smooth as silk and runs beautifully.
The porcelain dial has the marginal minutes. This is Howard\'s version of the Montgomery dial, similar, but not the same to avoid royalty payments.
The dial is very clean, but it does have one hairline in the outer chapter ring between the 24 and 25 markers. You need a loupe to notice it.
No dents in case, just light surface scratching from use. Both bezel and rear cover go on and off very easily. A little brassing on pendant where thumb rubs when winding and where chain attached.
Beautiful bold cobalt blued spade hour hand and whip minute hand, plus the second hand is in good shape, too.
The bow is tight and the crown is good. Definitely a watch to show off!
