History:This has been a part of my collection for a number of years but I have to thin the collection out for the sake of space.

About this Item:
A very unique and unusual Indian Princess Pommel Sword dating to around 1830 -1850. It is made by the prestigious sword make Horstman & Sons of Philadelphia. The grip scales are a beautiful rosewood set in highly detailed brass fittings. The finely blued and gilt blade is in excellent condition. To me it appears the tip has been reshaped at one time. Not noticeable but worth mentioning.The fine engraved brass scabbard has the Horstman plaque on the back. A one-of-a-kind and very desirable early American Sword
