This lovelySamovar has never been used for anything except Decorating purposes.

We are down-sizing and keeping just the \"necessary\" things and so this is our first posting of many items that we must sale. This lovely Samovarhas been used only as a display item... it looked great in our living room!!!We purchased this at an estate sale in Raleigh, NC from an individual who hadreceived the Samovar as a wedding gift but never used it (she, also, said that the gold-plating was 24K (?) from everything I have read I believe that, generally, the gold-plating isusually 22K). We took our Samovar to a local Jewelerwho confirmed the \"gold-plating\"only. We have never used the Samovar - wouldn\'t know how - andhave taken good care of it. The Samovar is hand crafted so it is NOT perfect and there are acouple of \"dings\". In the pictures, you will see imperfectionsand a few spotswhere the designis deep and the gold is more on the surface and not deep in the holes. You can see a fewof the\"dots\" along the edge of the tray appear dark. If you have any questions or would like more pictures, please email and I will respond.
