Absolutely precious, antique composition, Chinese character baby, \"Ming, Ming \", of the Orient, manufactured by Quan Quan Co. of California, circa 1930s. Measuring about 10\" long, this little sweetheart has side-glancing painted eyes with molded eyelids, eyebrows and closed mouth and wears all his/her original clothing consisting of avividblue silk trousers, lined pink silk jacket(both trimmed with lavender blue silk and brocade and small pearl buttons on thesilk sleeves) and black frog closure and an adorable matching silk baby cap. He also wears a fine pink silk shirt beneath his jacket andone black silk slipper.He/she has aswivel head and joints at his shoulders and his hips with bent (baby-style) limbs. He is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks no crazing or repainting except for some paint flakes on the seam at the top of his head (covered by his cap). He has no stains or fading and no odors as he is from a smoke free home. His larger sister & other dolls are not included and listed separately.
