The cello is in a very good condition, it has no open cracks, no soundpost or bassbarcracks. There are some small repairs on the scroll and the neck was set a bit higher as you can see on thepictures and there is a second whole under the endpin, but really don´t understand why it is there. The top is a bit sunken on the bass side, as you can see from the picture number 8. The back is very strong and deep flamed, very neat, very good Wood choice, as same as the ribs. The top is made of bear claw spruce. The varnish is alsovery nice, it has an orange color and is very luminous.Very fine and masterful carved scroll with sharp edges, deeply carved with a very nice swing. The inside work is also very clean, with 4 corner blocks, the linings are very high andrunning into the corner blocks. The Instrument is playable with an older set up.Measurements: Body: 75,5/Stop lenghts: 40,0/ Scale: 69,0 cm. Please ask me for your shipping cost!
