Beautiful Painted Scene-Antique-Victorian-Full Size-Renaissance Revival Bed:

Thisis a beautiful full size tall Victorian Renaissance Revival bed. It has a lovely harbor scene painted in the center and embellished with painted roses and pansies on the panels. The paint is original. The headboard is 82\" tall, foot board is 38\" tall and measures 56\" wide from leg to leg on the bottom. There is a split in the panel on the foot board where the pansies are painted and also a panel on the headboard that is bowed that is not completely flat. There is also a break in the molding on the headboard (shown in pic 7). There also looks like there was some sort of spill on the left side of the headboard that dripped down several panels and took off the paint. There are some scratches and scuffs in the painting but in no way distracts from the beauty of this peace. Its bumps and bruises and old patina gives it character. There are also no rails included, but looks like there are screw holes where a metal frame was screwed into it. A hook and rail bed frame system or even bolt on could be purchased at a local furniture store or if you are near an American Discount Furniture Warehouse can be purchased there as well. Any old chipping paint could be easily touched up with matching paint. I\'ll leave that up to the new owner as there those of you out there that like the original paint.
