A Wonderful reproduction of the rare Deluxe portrait Jumeau known as Bebe Incassable
( Child/ bebe Portrait -not the fashion poupee portrait )
Modeled after Jumeau\'s earliest bebe. She is very beautiful and meticulously hand made by exacting talented doll artist.
Her hand applied and pierced ears (made with separate molds) have been done to perfection and make her an accurate portrayal of her antique predecessor. She is 20 inches tall.

Condition:
some scratches on body as per age (2000) * about Land of Oz dolls- Watching Connie Zink work on her You T channel she explains she uses 4-5 firings in her painting, each layering of a color wash to get tonal values requires a firing in between - This time consuming practice not only makes for the most beautiful and accurate dolls but also rarer dolls. In the firing stage many things can happen, burns as in black scorch marks, cracks, splits, and kiln dust. (more firings naturally = more chance for Kiln defects).
Her reproductions are made with the solid white French porcelain, so all the coloration you see has been applied just like the authentic French dolls and not pre-colored into the slip itself.
