Beautiful, 1930\'s - 1940\'s era tied Postage Stamp quilt. It\'s an extra large size and has never been used or laundered.

The cotton quilt is tied with green cotton cord. It is in excellent condition - never used or laundered. Colors are bright and quilt is clean and crispy.

It\'s an extra large size at 81 x 95\". The cotton prints used arereally pretty and a great variety of colors. Each square is 1 1/2 x 1 1/2\".

In addition to the ties, there is a line of machine stitching about 3\" from each edge. Backing is a pink and purple cotton print (shown in last photo) that was brought forward and machine stitched down for binding. If there is batting in this quilt it is very thin.

This came from an Iowa estate sale and I\'m guessing that someone came across Grandma\'s beautiful quilt top and proceeded to \"finish\" it with ties and pink and purple backing. But that\'s just a email or click Contact Seller if you bought two or more of my items for a combined total before paying in order to receive the shipping discount.I cannot reduce shipping fees after payment has been made and rules require me to ship once you pay.
