This lovely necklace is in very good condition, I can find no signs of wear to the stones or the clasp, even the knotting looks clean and new.
The stones are Tourmaline, they are wonderful to touch and hold, I always find Tourmaline to be the most comforting of stones, it has a soft, soothing feel. These stones have been nicely cut and polished to produce flat ovals that lie perfectly against the skin, giving as much surface contact as possible, it is very nice to wear.
It has been hand knotted and has a good working bolt clasp, the clasp is fairly large and holds the weight of the stones well. Each stone is not identical in size, they are hand cut and polished, each stone also has a variety of colours and inclusions, making this a beautiful and unique piece of jewellery.
