This isa VintageArt Deco Blue Guilloche Enamel Ladies Dresser Top Hair Brush.

Theback of the brush has beautiful blue guilloche true vitreous enamel,with a great looking Art Deco design. I do not know the age of the brush specifically, but I think it is likely of the Art Deco Period, circa 1930s / 1940s.

The brush is 9 3/4\" in overall length. The maximum width across the taperingbrush head is 3\".

The silver colored brush handle / frame is made from some type of plated metal that I cannot specifically identify. It is neither sterling silver nor silver plate.

At the time of the original listing, were were listing a vintage Art Deco ladies blue guilloche enamel hair brush, and a three piece set Art Deco blue three piece set with two brushes and a hand mirror. This set has the appearance of blue guilloche enamel, but it is not enamel. Each piece has an insert that does a good job of simulating the appearance of guilloche enamel.

Condition:

As found, the brush has two condition issues to be noted:

There is a 1/2\" x 3/16\" chip in the enamel on the handle as seen in a closeup photo.
The metal frame is plated. There is a worn spot on the plating on the side of the handle as seen in a closeup photo.
