Just a beautiful example of the \"Globe\" \"Waterman\'s Ideal Ink, New York\" Fountain Pen Ink Bottle
* Pretty sure this is the early 1920\'s version of the bottle
* They are called \"Globe\" because of the shape of the bottle
* I think the Cap is made of Bakealite and isdeteriorating, as you can see, BUT you can still read the embossed \"Waterman\'s\" word on it. One picture didn\'t come out black, but he cap is truly 100% black
* Note the clearly easy to read \"Waterman\'s Ideal Ink New York\"embossedon the bottle itself.
* The bottle itself is in Great Shape, but please note the small round chip (.5mm) right before the word New York. It\'s under theembossingso it does not interfere with reading theembossingat all.
* The base of the bottle has a nice internal bubble in it as well as a few small chipsnoticeableif you run your finger around the bottom.
* Overall this very hard to come by ink bottle is in good shape, especially for it\'s age.
* Bottle stands 3.250\" tall, by 2.500\" in diameter at it\'s widest point
