We are listing this beautiful mid to late 1800s Victorian hand enameled glass perfume bottle (with its original matching stopper) which sits in a fancy custom fitted gilt-metal holder. Like most old glass the bottle is unmarked, but based on the style of the piece (and its holder) it was likely made during the Victorian era in France.The bottle is elegantly shaped and has a wonderful blue color, it is beautifully enameled with a floral decoration, has a smooth pontil, and it is topped with its original matching stopper. The gilt-metal holder has a flower blossom at the top of its handle, a very elaborate pierced floral design around its body, and sits on two hollow ball feet and the two curved ends of the handle. With its stopper the bottle is over 5 inches tall and almost 2.5 inches wide, beautifully shaped, colored, and decorated. Including its very decorative holder, the piece is almost 8 inches tall and almost 3 inches wide. It displays very well and everything is in very good condition with the exception of a small flake out of the glass right below the rim, and some losses to the gilded bands, mostly on the top of the rim (see the last picture).
