Description:This item shows surface wear from previous use. Could benefit from being properly cleaned, polished. Has original patina. Some areas show wear through brass plating to copper beneath. There is a scratch on the direct center of the back about 3/8\" long that shows through to copper (visible in 2nd to last photo when enlarged). There is a small indentation on the top of the lid less than 1/4\" long and is indicated where the finger is pointing in the last photo. There are some faint stains to the fabric on the lid -- have to inspect closely to see them. The fabric is padded and adhered to the lid. The adhesive is weak and the fabric can easily be removed or it will stay tucked into the lid on it\'s own.Wear: Slight signs of wear are considered typical for authentic vintagepieces, such as light surface scratches or patina. This type of normalwear attests to an item\'s age and adds to its vintage charm and character.
